Is Refuelr free?
Yes. Refuelr is free to use, with optional Plus and Premium tiers that add more vehicles, a higher AI receipt-scan quota, and extended stats.
Can I import my existing fuel data?
Yes. Refuelr imports your existing history from CSV and XLSX files, so moving from another app doesn't mean starting over. It reads exports from popular fuel trackers — including Fuelio, Drivvo, and Fuelly — or any spreadsheet that has date, odometer, fuel, and cost columns. Files up to 10 MB are supported, and Refuelr shows you a preview of the matched rows before anything is saved, so you can check the data first. Each import lands in its own new "Imported" vehicle, which means your existing records are never touched — you can rename or delete that vehicle later from the Vehicles screen. Most drivers bring years of fill-ups across in a few minutes, and you can export the same way to CSV or XLSX anytime, so your data is never locked in.
Does Refuelr calculate MPG and metric fuel economy?
Yes. Refuelr calculates your fuel economy in miles per gallon (MPG) as well as metric units like L/100km and km/L.
Can I track more than one vehicle?
Yes. Refuelr is built for more than one vehicle — cars, trucks, motorcycles, or a small fleet — all managed from a single dashboard with quick switching between them. Each vehicle keeps its own fuel log, MPG and fuel-economy history, costs, and maintenance records, so nothing gets mixed together. The paid tiers raise the vehicle limit: up to 10 vehicles on Plus and up to 100 on Premium, which fits anything from a single daily driver to a couple of household cars or a handful of work vehicles. You can change the active vehicle at any time, and every per-vehicle stat — fuel spend, fuel-economy trends, and service reminders — stays scoped to the vehicle you're currently viewing.
Can Refuelr scan fuel receipts?
Yes — on every tier. AI receipt scanning reads the fuel details straight from a photo of your receipt, so you can skip entering them by hand. The free tier includes 10 AI receipt scans per month, Plus includes 250, and Premium is unlimited. You can also keep the receipt image attached to the fill-up as a fuel-receipt photo, which is useful for expense claims, warranty records, or just keeping a complete history. Manual entry is always available as well, so you can mix scanning and typing depending on what's quicker — scanning a stack of receipts later, or adding a quick fill-up by hand at the pump.
