Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Refuelr mobile application (“the App”) operated by Refuelr (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Refuelr is a personal fuel tracking application that allows you to:

• Log fuel fill-ups and track fuel costs across multiple vehicles.
• Calculate and visualise fuel efficiency (MPG, L/100km, km/L).
• Set maintenance reminders and track service history.
• Log trips and associate them with fuel records.
• Export your data as CSV.

The App is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or use another person’s account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its servers.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
• Upload malicious content or use the App in a way that could damage our infrastructure.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all fuel records, vehicle data, and other content you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• Fuel efficiency calculations are accurate for insurance, tax, or legal purposes.
• Data will be retained indefinitely (though we take reasonable steps to prevent data loss).

You use the App at your own risk. Fuel efficiency figures are estimates based on data you enter and should not be relied upon for financial or legal decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Refuelr and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Refuelr operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
